As you may have heard, some parts of Queensland are a bit damp. Sadly, I live in Gladstone, one of the EXTREMELY damp places, and my house has been flooded. Luckily I’m in Noosa at the moment, after volunteering at a Roller Derby bout down here on Australia day, but I won’t be able to get home for a couple of days.
I’ll be waffling on facebook, for anyone that cares. But this does mean that D’s will be sporadically processed.
Stay safe Rob
Hey M Xrobau. I feel real empathy for you and I really want to help out. If there’s anything I can to please tell me, I will be happy to do it.

Damn. Hope the damage isn’t too bad, I bet you’re itching to get back. What a pain in the a-part, man.
My own personal struggle: A tree blew over, and I realised a few hours later that if I had been standing under it and looking upwards, and also if it had huge spikes, I’d probably be dead right now. Although I got to wander around with an old-timey lantern, and that was pretty cool. So for me the Unpleasantness was like a cheeseburger of emotions where I asked for no pickle but they included a pickle anyway. (I was going to say “emotional rollercoaster” but I thought it was too cliche, plus I really want a cheeseburger but the SES hung up on me).
Sorry to hear that Rob. My bro is up in Gladstone, but fortunately only the yard had issues. Hope you didn’t have too much of a cleanup. Had water and mud all around me two years ago, and it stunk for weeks!
